VISTOŘÍN, Radek
This thesis is devoted to the approach of child protection services to social work with families in the process of child protection. The main objective was to determine how effectively child protection services workers use selected social work methods, techniques, approaches and counselling in the process of child protection. Quantitative strategy was used to work on this objective in a form of questioning method. The data collection part was realized by a questionnaire of my own construction. In this total selection method of social protection service offices in the Czech Republic was used (234 child protection service offices). Social workers working as a head of the department were asked first to fill in the questionnaire and to distribute it subsequently to their co-workers (1841 potential respondents). Of this number of reached child protection services workers 235 filled in the questionaire. The data from quantitative research were further elaborated in the SPSS programme version 24 and graphically adjusted in the Microsoft Excel. First of all there were used Shapiro-Wilk Test and Komlmogorov-Smirnov Test accompanied by Lilliefors Test to identify normal data distribution. Afterwards nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis Test a Mann-Whitney U Test were used. The minimal level of significance for all of these test was p<0,05. Value added of this thesis is open question answers analysis. These qualitative data were further elaborated in the Atlas.ti programme version 8. The principal outcomes of this thesis are statistical tests results. Statistical significance level for the relationship between practice length and satisfaction with practising the proffesion was above the minimal level of significance (p<0,05). Therefore this hypothesis was rejected. Second hypothesis was divided into smaller parts according to selected social work methods, techniques, approaches and counselling in the process of child protection. Statistical significance level between education level of the child protection services workers and effectivity of goal oriented social work was below the minimal level of significance (p = 0,034). Therefore this hypothesis was confirmed. Practical effect of this thesis can be seen in finding that there exists a necessity of number of clients per one child protection worker evaluation. Furthermore selected social work methods, techniques, approaches and counselling effectivity analysis can be used as a tool to point out a need for additional training of child protection services workers.

The aim of the work is to find out how social workers in region of Jindřichův Hradec use this method and if they perceive it as an effective tool of their work. The theoretical part of the work is based on the study of professional literature related to the topic. The necessary data were gained through interviews with social workers who have personal experience with the implementation of the case conference. I categorized the gained material by the method of open coding and subsequently I analysed it. On the basis of these steps, it was possible to evaluate the goal of the bachelor's thesis and make a conclusion. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that case conferences are widely used by social workers, as it is a method that they consider very beneficial and effective. Thanks to this method, the work with the family has become faster and more coordinated. We can see the successes that social workers record after its implementation. The gained results could be used in praxis as a base for a deeper contemplation on the topic or they can become an inspiration for social workers who work with this method.

Murgová, Markéta ; Moree, Dana (advisor) ; Deverová, Lenka (referee)
Main target of this master thesis is to determine ways of cooperation between Office for Social and Legal Protection of Children and nonprofit non-governmental organisations (NGOs) active in the same professional area in Ústí nad Labem and its surroundings. The paper introduces a case study aiming for deeper understanding of views and attitudes of workers from both institutions, their interconnectedness and interaction, identifying shortcomings and suggesting areas with potential of improvement. The theoretical framework consists of different typologies of government - NGOs relations, which are then applied to the context of the chosen location that represents a town with many socially excluded areas and other negative phenomena. This results in a specifically divided society and tense atmosphere in which both institutions operate as representatives of government and civil society.
